Easy Eye Care and Remedies For Total Eyes Makeover

Hi Folks,

The care for our eyes is so important because a pair of healthy, sparkling eyes without dark circles, eye bags and crow’s feet will take few eyes off our age. Therefore we can’t afford to ignore the daily care of our eyes. But how do we take care of our delicate eyes? Here are the useful tips:-


Eye Care

· Apply your favorite eye gel twice a day, morning and night when you apply moisturizer on your face

· Use sunglasses when you come under the sun

· Have sufficient sleep and rest

· Avoid drinking too much of water before going to bed as this causes eye bags

· When applying eye makeup, do it gently, likewise, when you cleanse your eyes of makeup, gently wipe it off as areas around our eyes are delicate

What happen if these eyes bags and dark circles have already been formed under your eyes? Here are the remedies:-


Remedies

Puffy Eyes and Eye Bags

Steep two tea bags in boiling water for about 10 minutes, then remove and let them to cool. Once the tea bags are warm to the touch, place them over your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes. Tannic acid in tea helps to reduce swelling by constricting blood vessels.


Dark Circles

Slice two pieces of potatoes just big enough to cover your entire eye area and place them over your eyes for 15 minutes. Reason being, potatoes contain catecholase which is an enzyme that helps to lighten your skin.


Crow’s Feet

Rub a slice of fresh papaya or pineapple on the wrinkles area and allow the juice to sit for about 15 minutes. Rinse off with cool water. Reason being, papaya contains papain and pineapple contains bromelain, both of these enzyme help to remove dead skin cells and boost production of collagen. That also explain why people who take lots of fruits with these enzymes and vitamins get smoother and younger skin.


Eye Workouts

Our eyes need workouts just like our bodies need exercises, try the following workouts to ease your tired eyes and you will be amazed how alert you can be after that.

· Apply light pressure on closed eyes with the base of your palms and cover both eyes with cupped palms to create a chamber. Open your eyes and look into the darkness

· Hold an object close to your face and focus on it, look at the object again. Repeat five times

· Roll your eyes in a complete circle from left to right 20 times and repeat in the opposite direction

Start your eye care and workout today if you haven't done so. It is easy once you start it as it will be part of your routine before you even realize it.

I would like to emphasize that all parts of our body need to be taken care of. You don't want to look good on your complexion and shape but having crow's feet and eye bags around your eyes, do you?

Healthy Hair Look Great On You

Hi Folks,

The texture and look of our hair makes lots of difference to our appearance. Even if we look good and young but our hair is dull and problematic, it will add a few more years to our look. One common problem of our hair is dandruff.

Dandruff causes your scalp to shed white skin flakes in your hair and on your shoulder which can cause irritation and embarrassment. In serious case, hair loss may result. Hence if you have lots of dandruff, you should take action to check on the health condition of your scalp and hair.

Our skin cells on the scalp are constantly renewing as old cells get pushed to the surface by new ones. When this process goes into overdrive or fails to be as effective as it should be, seborrhoeic dermatitis or dandruff is the result. Excess sebum causes our scalp to be scaly and the skin cells to shed and collect in clumps. Dandruff becomes visible as a result of bacteria growth which may needs medical care and attention but mild cases can be treated by using an anti dandruff shampoo or applying home remedies which is my pleasure to highlight here:-

· Use an anti-dandruff shampoo containing effective ingredients like selenium sulfide, which has been scientifically proven to treat cause of dandruff. The other alternative which is my favorite is a brand known as Nizoral commonly sold in pharmacy. Use it on alternate day and you will be relieved of the itching, flaking and scaling of your scalp


· When you are shampooing, gently massage scalp with your fingertips to help loosen scales and flakes. Avoid scratching as this will cause sores that are worse than dandruff


· If you are using conditioner, avoid your scalp area and concentrate on your hair roots instead


· Boil 5 teaspoons of dried used tea leaves in lime water, and use it as a final rinse to help eliminate dandruff formation


· Give your hair a hot steam bath. Massage in hot olive oil with a hot damp towel and leave towel wrapped around your head for the steam to help fight dandruff problem. Wrapping your hair in hot towel soften texture of your hair too!


· A little sun exposure is good for controlling dandruff as direct ultraviolet light has an anti-inflammatory effect on scaly skin conditions


· Stress and hormone imbalance cause dandruff. Hence if you are facing these problem, seek professional advice



My last advice is sufficient sleep and rest which not only improve your hair condition but your alertness and on long term you will look younger!
