Care for your liver

Hi folk,

I promised in my previous post that I will be sharing today how we can take good care of our precious organ; liver.

Our liver acts as filter system to filter toxin from our daily food intake. It is therefore important to maintain good lifestyle by eating healthy and have sufficient rest. Easting healthy will reduce burden on our liver and having sufficient sleep and avoiding late eating before bedtime allows our system including liver to take a break otherwise it will be like working round the clock.

Let's look at how our liver can be damaged:-

1. Sleeping too late deprive our organs of rest and waking up too late basically upset our body system.

2. Not urinating in the morning means toxin are not flushed out of our body.

3. Too much eating means burdening our liver

4. Skipping breakfast deprive our body of important nutrients for the early start of the day.

5. Too much medication adds burden to our liver.

6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial also add burden to our liver.

It is also important to note that the use of cooking oil in preparing or frying of foods should be controlled. Whilst we should use less of cooking oil, recycled oil should also be avoided. I personally prefer olive oil for preparing food and salad. Grape seed oil together with some nuts and sunflower seeds are great for my salad too.I try avoiding deep fried food although occasionally I do go for deep fried fish, but most of the time, steam fish is my favorite, all because of preserving nutrients and an ease for body organs to handle the filtering, digestion and absorption.

Let's also see how our organs work according to time:-

Evening at 9 - 11pm:
This is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes).
This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time we are still in working hard in the office or house chore, it will affect our health badly.

Evening at 11pm - 1am:
This the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 1 - 3am:
This is detoxification process in the gall, and should ideally be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 3 - 5am:
These hours are for detoxification in the lungs and it may sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

Morning 5 - 7am:
A detoxification in the colon,
and we should empty our bowel during these hours.

Morning 7 - 9am:
This is the best time for absorption of nutrients in our small intestine, we
should be having breakfast at this time.

I would usually visit the toilet early in the morning when I wake up at about 8.00am followed by juices and honey for my first nutrients of the day. Then I will have morning brisk walk in the park...and I am glad that I am NOT getting older but stronger and younger instead.

For cleansing of liver, milk thistle is an effective herbal supplement which can be bought from most pharmacy outlets.

The last point I wish to highlight is; once we have taken care of our liver. our age spots and pigmentation will be significantly reduced if not completely disappear.

Hope you like this post!

To your health success,
