Knowing Your Inner Beauty

Hi Folk,

Today's post is earlier than usual as I will flying off in less than ten hours' time for my annual golf trip in China. Time is running short and I do not want to miss this post to you, so I have to shorten it a little.

Today, I am going to share with you how we can look and groom our best.

  1. Remember your outer beauty is a reflection of your inner beauty, so start feeling prettier by making an effort to like your looks. When you start caring about your appearance, you begin to take care of your whole being.
  2. Get stoked about your plus points instead of focusing on your flaws. Whatever your good features are, take time to appreciate them and it will go a long way towards bolstering your beauty confidence.
  3. Color your mood happy. When you're feeling down about what you see in the mirror, don't grab that dull coat that seems to match your mood perfectly. Instead put on a bright color to kick you back into gear.
  4. If it's a bad hair day, that's making you frustrated, hide your hair scare under a hat and get involved in an energetic activity - that'll get your mind off trashing your tresses.
  5. Lastly, laugh. You will feel a lift after a good laugh and a smile is one of your best beauty accessories. Just bear in mind, when you smile, the world will smile in return.
Hope you like this short post.

I will be returning in about 10 days' time.

wishing you young forever,

Janice

Practice Yoga For Your Total Well Being

Hi Friends,

Today I wish to share with you my experience with benefits of yoga and how it transformed my life and yours too if you would put aside some time in a week to put it into practice.

Looking back, I have started with yoga for some years now and I find that not only does it give me wonderful physical workouts; it also provides me with a completely different outlook in life. It does not matter how tired I may be going into class, I always look forward to it and I come out a changed person when the session ends. I feel refreshed and renewed, like every cell in my body is sparkling.

As a fact, yoga brings us both physical and mental benefits. Physical benefits are toned and better built body with improved respiration and energy level. It also improves our metabolism and promotes better circulatory health.

For mental benefits, yoga teaches us how to focus on breathing while we look and feel younger. It improves our athletic performance too.

Consistent practice of yoga with meditation help to control ailments such as diabetes, blood pressure, digestive problems, arthritis, arteriosclerosis, chronic and heart problems. Scientific tests have proved that yoga has the ability to increase the control of autonomic or involuntary functions like temperature, heartbeat and blood pressure. The very essence of yoga lies in attaining mental peace, improved concentration powers, a relaxed state of living and harmony in relationships.

Through the practice of yoga, we become aware of the interconnectedness between our emotional, mental and physical levels.

My further studies into yoga reveal its following benefits:-

BENEFITS

Physicians and scientists are discovering more and more new health benefits of practicing yoga. Studies show it can relieve the symptoms of several common and potentially life-threatening illnesses such as arthritis, arteriosclerosis, chronic fatigue, diabetes, asthma and obesity.

Asthma
Studies conducted at yoga institutions in India have reported impressive improvements in asthma. It has also been proved that asthma attacks can usually be prevented by practice of yoga.

Respiration Problems
Patients who practice yoga have a better chance of gaining the ability to control their breathing problems. With the help of yogic breathing exercises, it is possible to control an attack of severe shortness of breath.

High Blood Pressure
The relaxation and exercise components of yoga have a major role to play in the treatment and prevention of high blood pressure and hypertension. Yogic breathing and relaxation techniques have been found to lower blood pressure and reduce the need for high blood pressure medication in people suffering from it.

Relief of Pain
Breathing exercises used in yoga can also reduce pain because our muscles tend to relax when we exhale. Lengthening the time of exhalation can help produce relaxation and reduce tension. Awareness of breathing helps to achieve calmer, slower respiration and help in relaxation and body pain.

Arthritis
The easy stretches with deep breathing exercises relieve the tension that binds up the muscles and further tighten the joints. Yoga is relaxation and exercise rolled into one – the perfect anti-arthritis formula.

Weight Reduction
Regular yoga practice helps in weight management because it improves our metabolism. It is able to overcome anxiety and thus solving the problem on anxious eating. Yoga deep breathing increases oxidation or burning up of fat cells. Yogic exercises induce more continuous and deeper breathing which gradually burns, sometimes forcefully, many of the calories already ingested.

Mental Performance
Regular practice of breathing through one nostril is said to improve communication between the right and left side of our brain. This increased brain activity is associated with better performance and doctors even suggest that yoga can enhance cognitive performance.

Mood change and Vitality
The practice of yoga over a period of time also helps to improve our outlook and energy level.

Would you start practicing yoga from today for some good reasons? If you do not know how to go about, just like me before, go for some yoga lessons to start off and soon you will find yourself looking forward to the sessions as you feel the changes within you, total calmness, concentration with harmony within self.

If you like my post, your comment here will make my day!

wishing you all the happiness,

Janice

How To Use Vision Board To Stay Young, Vibrant ...

What is a vision board? And do you have one?

A vision board is simply a board which you stick the pictures of things you visualize you already have. The principle of this is: as you see pictures on the vision board day in and day out, you remind yourself and start working on your vision and eventually achieving them. Good right?

I experienced some of my success with this vision board that I feel it is a pleasure for me to share with you so that you too can practice and also materialize your dreams.

Just few years ago, I felt I was missing some important things I wanted in life. Although I had my career, I felt I wasn't living a true and meaningful one. I wanted better health, more attractive figure line, a younger personality, ability to maintain a good lifestyle and better bonding with my family.

I met up with friends over lunch and and I brought up the subject. One of them advised me to draw up my vision board. Not sure what exactly a vision board was, I asked, “what is a vision board” and she said, “oh it is a board which you write and stick up pictures of your vision and soon magic will come, simple as that!”

I went back home and started to put up picture of a young and trendy lady. I also drew picture of myself posing a great golf swing because I had wanted to learn golf very much then. The other picture was my family photo having a holiday together. My husband and two children asked. “mum, what is that?” and I explained that was my vision board.

First achievement
Soon after my vision board was fixed up in my bedroom, which I could remind myself before I went to bed and after I woke up in the morning, I found myself waking up forty minutes earlier than usual. I put on jogging shoes and shorts and started my first morning walk in the park near my house. The next morning, I persuaded my husband to join me and he did. I also started preparing healthier diet which eventually trimming not only my weight, but also my family. At the end of two weeks, I reduced two lbs and we felt much healthier.

Second achievement
I engaged a golf coach to coach me on playing golf, and this set a fix time to go for golf lesson at least once a week. This golf lessons helped to trim my weight further. Within one month, I lost six lbs and I also passed my golf test with my handicap of 33 within three months, which was fairly fast for a beginner.
.
Third Vision achievement
Having achieving two of my “vision” I was more motivated and I discussed with my husband who agreed we went for a holiday with our children. Although that was not the first family holiday, but it indeed was a meaningful holiday and I explained to my children that was the principle of Law of Attraction that brought us together to the great holiday in Tasmania , seen the picture above which was a restaurant we stopped by in Hobart to have some delicious pancakes.

It served as another platform for my kids to learn about life achievement. It is important to them as equally to us that the Law of Attraction is all about events and things that we handle to achieve our vision. And as you are reading this article of mine, it is my sincere wish that you appreciate and learn how Law of Attraction can improve your life too, be it wealth, health, beauty or relationship.

I read books on Law of Attraction over and over again to practice it in my life and I find my life being transformed better and better each day as I enhance my knowledge in the subject, which you too can benefit by getting insight into the principles. I sincerely hope you won't miss this book as it can change your life tremendously if you follow the steps closely.

What has young and beauty to do with vision board and Law of Attraction? Because it is the Law of Attraction that I attract my look, health, wealth and happiness and so can you!

wishing you all the happiness in life,

Janice
