Honey For Your Health and Beauty

Hi Folks,


In my previous post, I have written some articles on natural remedies of Honey. Today, after further studies and research, I found even great uses of honey especially when mixed with our kitchen herb; Cinnamon.

Here are they are:-

Arthritis

· Take one part of honey to two parts of warm water, add a small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Make into a paste and massage into the aching part of your body slowly.

· The pain should ease within fifteen or twenty minutes.

· Patients of Arthritis can take one cup of hot water with two spoonful of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder daily.

· If taken consistently, chronic arthritis can be cured or eased over a period of time.

In a recent research done at Copenhagen University, it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon honey and half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder before breakfast, 70 over patients out of 200 have been relieved of pain within a month. Before treatment, these patients could not walk

Hair Loss

· If you find your hair thinning slowly, simply apply a paste of hot olive oil, one tablespoon of honey, one teaspoon of cinnamon powder before a bath and leave it for approximately 15 minutes. Then wash your hair.

· Do this consistently everyday over a period of time and your hair will start to thicken. However, for baldness, you may have to consult a hair specialist although you may also try this method first before consulting a specialist.


Immune System

· Daily use of honey and cinnamon powder strengthen our immune system and protects us from bacterial and virus attack.

· Honey is a natural food, rich in vitamins and minerals.

· Regular use of honey as supplement strengthens our white blood corpuscles to fight bacteria and virus.

I personally use lots of honey and usually manuka honey because of its healing properties and also because it is a natural supplement, all for the reason to avoid as much chemicals as possible from factory made supplements.

If not used for treating ailment, honey can be taken by itself without water or you can mix it together in a warm glass of water, preferably in the morning before breakfast. If taken at night before bedtime, it can help to promote better sleep quality.
